After working with a world-class talent agency and surveying new opportunities for them, it became clear that there was a big opportunity emerging for esports athletes and video game entertainer management. Realizing there was no better time than now and little in my way, I pulled together a group to create Huxley Talent Management and make a go of it.
I recruited upcoming esports athletes and entertainers through combing the leaderboards of games that had large Twitch.tv and YouTube followings. After bringing a stable of talent on board, I worked with them to draft content schedules, develop insights based on their viewership analytics, and manage partnerships. The team of graphic designers and video editors I managed were responsible for producing YouTube videos and social media content that filled niches within the respective games.
